Hail and blessed be the hour and the moment in

                     which the Son of God was born of the most pure

                     Virgin Mary, at midnight, in a stable in Bethlehem,

                      in the piercing cold.  In that lone hour vouchsafe,

                      O my God! to hear my prayer and grant my

                      petition, through the merits of our Lord Savior

                      Jesus Christ, and His Most Blessed Mother.
